An Evening with St. Nick at the Isle of Wight County Museum
Friday, November 19 from 6 - 8 p.m.
Visit the jolly ol’ elf and enjoy an evening of holiday refreshments, crafts and a special reading of Twas the Night Before Christmas by Clement Clarke Moore. Perfect for families. Make your visit with St. Nick a little more special. Bring a wrapped gift for St. Nick to give to your child. Pre-registration will give you the opportunity to provide some information about your child so St. Nick can talk with him or her! 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Annual Christmas Tree Lighting
Friday, November 19 at 6 p.m.
Bring the family and join friends for the Annual lighting of the downtown Christmas tree ceremony. The town Christmas tree will be on the lawn by the gazebo, at 228 Main Street in Smithfield. The Honorary Tree lighter this year is William Drewery.  Enjoy holiday music and of course, cookies compliments of the Woman's Club of Smithfield.

Mistletoe Marketplace
Saturday, November 20 from 3 - 8 p.m.
Plan to celebrate with family and friends at the annual evening  Mistletoe Market in downtown Smithfield. The 2021 event is scheduled for November 20, the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving. Held along Main Street in the historic district, the event will feature hand crafted, handmade and unique vendors downtown, along with food and live performances.

Smithfield Farmers Market's "Christmas Food & Craft Markets"
Saturday, December 4 & 18 from 9 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
 Named one of the "Top 101 Farmers Markets in the USA," the Smithfield Farmers Market takes place every Saturday from April through November with Specialty Markets held throughout the year as well. The market features baked goods, craft items, specialty foods, and of course, lots of fresh produce plus live music every week. 

Downtown Smithfield Annual Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 11 at 10:30 a.m.
Don't miss this old-fashioned community event scheduled for the second Saturday in December along Main and Grace Street in downtown Smithfield. Floats, bands, dance troups, animals and more!
